Guruswami (Sri) Sridharan - Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Sri has more than 35 years of experience in the radio system industry, and is an experienced leader in building technology companies. He is a founder of Orca Systems and serves as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, responsible for setting the company’s strategic vision. Prior to Orca, Sri founded Ashvattha Semiconductor which was acquired by Insilica in 2005 where he served as the GM for Wireless Products. At Ashvattha, he served as Chairman and President and led the development of multi-mode RF CMOS products addressing the GSM, GPS & Bluetooth markets. Prior to Ashvattha, Sri was responsible for GPS RF Systems & Cordless RF Systems at Conexant, coming Conexant from Rockwell Collins, where he performed research in RF CMOS for VHF radio applications. Prior to Rockwell, he served in several management and technical positions delivering communication systems for para-military applications, FMFSK data radios, and VHF/UHF airborne and ship borne communication systems. Sri holds a B.E. from the College of Engineering, Guindy and an M. Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Kartik Sridharan - Vice President, Engineering & Founder
Kartik Sridharan is a founder of Orca Systems and serves as a Director and our Vice President of Engineering, responsible for the company’s research and development. Prior to Orca, Kartik founded Ashvattha Semiconductor which was acquired by Insilica in 2005 where he served as Vice President for Wireless Products. At Ashvattha, he served as VP of Engineering and was responsible for the system design of multi-mode RF CMOS products addressing GSM, GPS & Bluetooth markets. Prior to Ashvattha, he developed several RF and wireless products for Philips, including HiPERLAN products and RFIC products for the set-top box market. Kartik holds 6 granted patents in system design and synthesizers. Kartik received a BSEE and an MSEE from Stanford University.
Vasanth Shreesha - Vice President, Business Development
Vasanth has over 15 years of experience in the Semiconductor industry serving roles in Marketing and Product Development. He currently serves as VP of Business Development, responsible for business development of existing and new products. Prior to Orca, he was responsible for DTV product line marketing at Marvell Semiconductors. Before Marvell, he held various Marketing and Engineering roles at Genesis Microchip, Panasonic AVC American Labs and Accu-Sort Systems. Vasanth received his B.E. from NITK, Suratkal, M.S.E.E. from Drexel University, Philadelphia and MBA from Stern School of Business, New York.
